City of Melbourne solar grants: closed 31 August 2015

$2,000 to $4,000 grants were available for businesses to install solar PV systems. Must be located within the City of Melbourne boundary and targetted to systems 10-30kW in size. Find out more.

Energy Efficiency for Schools program - applications closed 30th May 2014

Resource Smart AUSSI Vic awarded Schools in Victoria a one-off energy efficiency grant of up to $10,000 to assist them to more effectively manage their energy consumption. The $10,000 can cover the cost of an energy audit by consultants such as Enhar and help towards the cost of implementing energy- efficient equipment in School buildings. The Energy Efficiency Grants Program is a partnership between Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) and Sustainability Victoria.

Community Sustainablity Infrastructure Fund - closed 30 Oct 2014

Opened on 29th September 2014, CSIF provides $50,000 funding to communities to install solar at 1:1 and uncapped grants of 1:3 to businesses for energy efficiency upgrades. Click here for more information.

Enhar assisted clients to rapidly prepare applications and we were impressed by the quick turnaround from Sustainability Victoria to approve all our applications by 5 November. The published list includes 4 clients we worked for who will be installing solar and energy efficiency projects. We have been advised by Sustainability Victoria will unfortunately not re-open this particular scheme. The new State Government of Victoria is believed to be planning how it will support the sector including the Future Industries Fund, announcements may be made in time for the July 2015 start of new financial year.

Sustainability Victoria SRSB Funding - closed 2nd May 2014

The Smarter Business Smarter Resources program provided grant opportunities for medium business up to 200 employees to determine and implement energy saving initiatives.

Victorian Business are eligible for 50% grant funding for energy efficiency capital works. Enhar is working for our Victorian clients to prepare successful grant applications in this round and we encourage more businesses to apply.

Enhar worked with  numerous small to medium businesses in Victoria and suppliers of energy efficient  equipment, to prepare and submit grant applications in 2014. We are pleased with the high approval rate we acheived and our successful clients are now installing a range of efficiency improvements to air conditioning, lighting, air compressors and more.
