Demian Natakhan - Manager and Founder

Demian is a Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. During his Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering, he spent his very first year in industry working on wind analysis and wind farm energy yield consultancy in the UK.  Since graduating from his Master of Science degree in Renewable Energy Systems Technology in 2001, Demian has been working on project feasibility, development and construction, gaining an arsenal of technical, environmental and project management skills.Demian is dedicated to providing project support to organisations working to achieve renewable energy and energy conservation results. Trent Hawkins - Technical Manager
  

  Tasks

Trent is a qualified mechanical engineer with experience from the medical engineering sector. His interests in sustainable energy include large scale solar thermal technology as well as large and small scale wind power.
 

His Educational qualifications include Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with honours, completed in 2005. He received award for best thesis in Biomedical Engineering at UWA. Trent has authored and co-authored four scholarly publications.
He developed his interest in renewable energy and sustainability through involvement in climate change campaigns. He has been employed at Enhar since November 2009 where he has

• Undertaken feasibility studies for wind farm sites in Victoria
• Development of the Victorian Consumer Guide to Small Wind Generation including the Planning Application procedures and speaking at the Small Wind Industry Roundtable event in Melbourne.
• Researched all Australian small wind turbine suppliers and produced a database for input to the Power Predictor website, this included communicating with the small wind turbine industry about turbine specifications and prices
 

His other work at Enhar includes providing know-how on large scale solar plants, wind farm site design for Victorian clients, wind monitoring, research and analysis for wind products and technology, financial viability study of a 10MW wind farm in Australia.
Trent has also co-authored the Beyond Zero Emissions “Zero Carbon Australia 2020 Stationary Energy Plan”.

Ben Peak - Sub-Contracted Energy Auditor
  

  Tasks

Ben uses his extensive practical skills from the building construction industry, combined with his knowledge of energy management, to provide real energy saving advice for clients.  Ben is brought in by Enhar for specific projects, such as larger energy audits.

Ben is also a skilled low voltage fitter and is contractable to Enhar to install sensitive wind monitoring instruments and wind monitoring masts.

Francisco Sanchez-Vizcaino - Project Manager
  

  Tasks

Francisco is a qualified Civil Engineer undertaking a Masters in Sustainable Energy at RMIT. He will assist with the feasibility work.

Francisco’s relevant experience includes production of Enhar’s final report on Wind Monitoring and Micro Wind Turbine Feasibility for Mornington Peninsula Shire, completed in June 2010.

 

Paul Judd - Analyst and Technician
  

  Tasks

Paul is an experienced mathematical analyst and a sub-contract technician  to Enhar. As a qualified metallurgist, Paul has undertaken a wide range of research and teaching roles in sciences and engineering.

Paul has a broad knowledge of sustainable energy gained through practical experience as well as undertaking courses such as the Diploma in Renewable Energy.

His technology knowledge hwich spans energy auditing, solar power, wind energy and energy storage, enrichens the Enhar knowledge base.

Paul works on wind monitoring mast installation and maintenance such as the 15 m weather station system Enhar installed in Mornington.
 

Jacob Fry - Project Manager
  

  Tasks

Jacob is a qualified physicist undertaking a Masters in Sustainable Energy at RMIT.  He is a part time intern at Enhar.

Jacob’s role includes wind resource calculations for Melbourne rooftop sites and configuring wind monitoring equipment for urban wind resource monitoring projects.
 

His knowledge of wave power strengthens our offering to the marine energy sector.

Michelle Quach - Project Manager
  

  Tasks

Michell is BSc qualified in environmental and geographical disciplines.  She is a part time intern at Enhar.

Her role includes maintenance of Enhar's wind farm database and map and GIS presentation of the map to Government clients.

Michelle contributed to the Consumer Guide to Small Scale Wind Generation, produced for Sustainability Victorian in 2010.
