Grants now available for SME energy audits & local government climate/energy projects

Sustainability Victoria is providing grants of 50% of the cost of a detailed energy efficiency assessment for SMEs. Businesses with less than 200 employees are eligible for this funding, a sector where we see a lot of energy saving opportunities through new lighting, heating, cooling, and variable speed drive technology plus replacement of old inefficient equipment.  Researching low energy products tailored to your business is time consuming, so use one of our expert consultants to take the hassle out and present great solutions to you.   Applications close Friday 12 February 2016 for energy assessment grants so contact us  to ensure you get your application in to beat the deadline.

The State Government is also offering $60,000 grants to local governments for climate change mitigation and adaptation. Eligible projects include:

  • mapping and brokering of local renewable energy solutions
  • working towards carbon neutrality including renewable energy opportunities
  • explore opportunities and contribute to carbon mitigation actions to progress business and communities into a low carbon future
