Enhar was created to support the development of renewable energy projects and facilitate the transition to world free of pollution.
Part of the Enhar ethos is to have a net-positive impact on the plant, not only through the work we do but how we do it. Enhar purchases 100% green energy from Diamond Energy and has implemented measures to reduce the total energy used by the company.
Enhar also monitors what energy is used and then offsets them through transparent and verifiable methods. In 2022 and 2023, Enhar conducted energy audits and offset the total emission through Climate Active - close to 30 tonnes.
Taking an Extra Step
Enhar has been around since 2006 and operated for a number of years before participating in carbon offsetting programs.
This left 14 years of historic operation that hadn't been offset, so Enhar retroactively applied the Climate Active Methodology to estimate historical carbon emissions since the company was founded.
Enhar then purchased and retired 320 treecoin (that's 120 tonnes more than we needed to as we estimated 200 tonnes) so that the company is now beyond carbon neutral and has achieved it's goal of being a net positive impact to the environment.
