Knox City Council 4.99MW Landfill Solar Farm

Knox City Council 4.99MW Landfill Solar Farm
  • Project: Knox City Council 4.99MW Landfill Solar Farm

Enhar prepared a feasibility study into a solar farm on the landfill site in Wantirna South belonging to Knox City Council .  The site assessed as suitable.

Enhar undertook financial modelling and liaised with the local grid distributor to arrive at an estimated cost.  Modelling of energy yields and life-cycle economics was performed.

By offsetting the Council electricity bill across all its buildings, the project would have the effect of reducing the annual cost of electricity to the Council, and creating an income from sale of solar electricity.
