Several important grant opportunities are currently available for organisations in Victoria to implement renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives.
Businesses now have until Thursday 31 March to submit applications to Sustainability Victoria for an energy assessment grant up to $5,000. Sustainability Victoria is evaluating and approving applications as they are received. The State Government also has the New Energy Jobs Fund currently open for applications until 16 March. Life Saving clubs can apply for funding from a large State Government fund aimed at solar PV for clubs in Victoria. The $500M Community Renewables Solar Grants Initiative enables Life Saving Victoria clubs to apply for grants from now with the installation of solar systems expected to get underway from March 2016.
